Blue Ash Fire Department honors hotel worker for putting out a fire

The Blue Ash Fire Department is recognizing a local hotel worker who quickly put out a fire at her workplace on July 1.
Shelley Bowes received a certificate of recognition from Fire Marshal Heath Waxman and Fire Chief Chris Theders at the North Fire Station today.
The certificate states that Bowes’s “quick response to extinguish the fire and notify all residents, prevented extensive fire damage and ensured all residents were promptly alerted and remained safe” at the Extended Stay America Hotel.
