The Blue Ash Police Department received equipment that will help save lives.

The Cincinnati Rotary Club and Christ Hospital awarded two automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to the Department at an event yesterday in Cincinnati.

The AEDs will be placed inside marked police cruisers to help people suffering from cardiac events.

“Seconds matter and we would like to recognize the Rotary Club for their commitment to public safety,” said Police Chief Scott Noel.

Officer Brentten Wiley (pictured) was on hand to receive the AEDs. Fifty devices were distributed to police departments throughout Hamilton County.
