Board of Site Arrangement and Board of Zoning Appeals
The Board of Site Arrangement (BSA) reviews proposed new buildings and additions in commercial Zoning districts as well as proposed commercial buildings and additions in residential Zoning districts to ensure quality development in these areas. The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) decides on appeals to the Zoning Code and on enforcement of the Zoning regulations as they relate to land use, buildings, and other construction in Blue Ash. The BSA and BZA are separate boards, but have the same membership. All members are appointed by Council. The Charter requires that all five members be electors of the City who are not employed by the City and hold no other City office except on these Boards.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7PM in the Council Chambers with the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting immediately following the conclusion of the Board of Site Arrangement meeting. Meetings are open to the public; however, to avoid any inconvenience we suggest that anyone interested in attending upcoming meetings call the Community Development Department to confirm the meetings are scheduled.
Agendas will be posted to the Calendar of Events when ready - usually the Friday before a scheduled meeting. Questions about either Board should be directed to the Community Development Department, 513-745-8520.
