Lee Czerwonka

Mayor Lee CzerwonkaCouncilman Lee Czerwonka was first appointed to Blue Ash City Council (At-Large) effective September 9, 2004, and was first elected to office in the 2005 municipal election. He was selected to serve as Vice Mayor from 2009-2013, and then served as Mayor from 2013-2017. He serves on Council’s Finance and Administration Committee and the Parks & Recreation Committee. 

Councilman Czerwonka has been a member of the State Auditor’s Regional Advisory Board since 2007. He has been a member of the Hamilton County Municipal League Board of Directors since 2008 and currently serves as the Treasurer for the organization. He also serves as the Blue Ash Representative for the Hamilton County Climate Initiative, Member of the Hamilton County District 2, Integrating Committee, Member of the State 911 Steering Committee and Chairman of the Hamilton County 911 Communications Board. Councilman Czerwonka is also Chairman of the Hamilton County Convention Facilities Authority.

A trustee and current President of the Blue Ash Civic League, Councilman Czerwonka also serves as the President of the Fallsington Grant Homeowners Association, a position he's held since the early 90's. He is also a volunteer for the Cancer Support Community of Cincinnati and a regular donor for the Hoxworth Blood Center.

Prior to his Council service, he served on the Blue Ash Planning Commission as Vice Chairman from August 2002 to September 2004. Since 2004, he has served as Chairman of the City's Beautification Committee. Councilman Czerwonka was a 2004 recipient of the Amateur Gardner Award from the Cincinnati Horticultural Society.
