City's Service Superintendent named President of Southwest APWA

The Service Superintendent for the City of Blue Ash has been named president of the Southwest Ohio branch of the American Public Works Association.

Josh DeHart was President-Elect in 2021 and will automatically become President in 2022.

As Service Superintendent, DeHart is responsible for overseeing and managing street, sidewalk, and bike path maintenance, roadway signage and pavement marking maintenance, storm sewer and catch basin inspection and maintenance, minor bridge maintenance, brush and leaf removal, and snow and ice removal.

The mission of Ohio APWA is to provide an essential delivery of up-to-date information on the latest public works technologies and management trends. The Chapter offers its members educational programs, public service activities, symposiums, equipment shows, and the chance to network with fellow members in a professional setting.

The Southwest Ohio branch encompasses 17 counties.
