Send a card or letter to military members at the Yellow Ribbon Tree for the Troops

Visit the Yellow Ribbon Tree for the Troops at the Blue Ash Recreation Center,  4433 Cooper Road, and write a letter or card to bring holiday cheer to deployed military members.

There is an area set up near the tree where you can fill out a holiday greeting card, or you can bring your own to put into the mailbox.

“For years we have had a tree in the Recreation Center that honors the Sycamore graduates that we’ve lost while serving overseas. This year and last, we have displayed it in time for Veterans Day,” said Susan Trammel, Parks and Recreation Administrative Assistant. “The tree is decorated with patriotic ornaments and yellow ribbons that were displayed throughout Blue Ash for Scottie Morrison’s funeral processional in 2010.”

Cards and letters can be submitted now through December 3.
