The Blue Ash Fire Department and Firefighters Local 3203 will be hosting the 20th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Firefighter Stair Climb on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Summit Park.

The Annual Blue Ash Stair Climb will be held for the second year in a row at the Summit Park Observation Tower, 4335 Glendale Milford Road, Blue Ash.

Memorial events will kick off at 8:00 a.m. to honor the fallen firefighters, police, medics, and first responders that gave their lives 20 years ago so others may live.

Participating firefighters will climb the tower a total of 10 times in full gear to signify the 110-floor climb New York firefighters made to rescue others at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

The public is welcome to view the climb.

Firefighters who wish to participate must sign in here: https://register.chronotrack.com/r/60684. Instructions can be found here. Limited climbing space is available.

Due to firefighter participation in this event, the Blue Ash CPR/AED class scheduled for September 11 has been canceled.
