The Blue Ash Police Department is one of the stops on the “Honks for Jason” fundraiser tour around the Cincinnati area.

Jason White, a young man with cerebral palsy who primarily uses a wheelchair for mobility, hopes to raise $10,000, one dollar for every honk, which will be donated to St. Joseph Home, according to a news release from St. Joseph Home.

White will be at the Blue Ash Police Department on August 3 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. waving to motorists and encouraging them to honk their horns. There will even be a small parade of police and fire vehicles!

“The Blue Ash Police Department is thrilled to be one of Jason’s tour stops,” said Chief Scott Noel. “Over the years, Jason has become a friend to many officers in the department and his enthusiasm is truly contagious! We are honored to support him in raising money for a very worthy cause.”

Anyone in any location can ‘sponsor’ a honk by making a donation online.
