Construction on the Duke Energy Central Corridor Pipeline is expected to begin in Blue Ash in March.

Work will begin on the north side of the City along Grooms Road and Reed Hartman Highway and will move south. View a larger map outlining the Blue Ash portion of the project here.

Some of this construction will impact traffic. One of the most notable road closures will happen in June when Glendale Milford Road will be shut down to westbound traffic at Plainfield Road. Traffic updates will be posted at blueash.com, on City social media page, at the Duke Central Corridor Pipeline website, and through local TV and radio stations.

Blue Ash residents who will be impacted by construction of the pipeline will receive newsletters from Duke Energy regarding the project.

The first newsletter was mailed the week of January 18 and can be viewed here as a PDF.

Duke Energy is also opening a field office on February 1 at 4766 Cornell Road where residents can provide feedback and voice concerns. The phone number for the office is 513-287-2130. Residents can also email CentCorridorPipeline@duke-energy.com.

Construction of the pipeline through Blue Ash is expected to wrap up at the end of 2021.

Meanwhile, the joint appeal filed by the City of Blue Ash and other municipalities continues. The Ohio Supreme Court recently scheduled the argument to hear the City’s challenge for March 31.
