Officer Schrand receives Life Saver Award for a third time

The Blue Ash Police Department is recognizing Officer Ken Schrand with his third Life Saver Recognition Award this year.

Officer Schrand administered Narcan to an individual on July 5, which rescued them from certain death due to overdose.

“Officer Schrand is being applauded for continuing to go above and beyond his normal call of duty despite risk and danger to himself,” said Blue Ash Police Chief Scott Noel.

He also was previously recognized with Life Saver Recognition Awards for saving lives under similar circumstances on April 24 and May 27.
