Blue Ash Officer promoted to Sergeant

Officer Mike Jackson is sworn in as a Sergeant by Mayor Marc Sirkin

Blue Ash Police Officer Mike Jackson was promoted to Sergeant and sworn-in today by Mayor Marc Sirkin. 

Sgt. Jackson is a 2003 graduate of Turpin High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 2003 and was deployed to Iraq in 2005. Upon his discharge from the Armed Forces, Michael began his career in law enforcement. He worked at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the  Norwood Police Department, before coming to the Blue Ash Police Department in 2017.

Michael is a member of the Hamilton County Police Association’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team.  He was a 2018 recipient of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Top Cop Award and the 
recipient of the 2019 Top Police Officer Award, sponsored by the American Legion, NE Post 630.  

Michael also volunteers countless hours at community events that educate the community of the various roles of police officers and SWAT officers. 

Sgt. Jackson's parents were in attendance at the ceremony and were coincidentally celebrating their wedding anniversary today.
