Summit Park Ice Rink Opens November 17
Summit Park’s “coolest” attraction will open to the public for three months beginning Saturday, November 17th at noon. The ice rink will be located directly underneath the park’s glass canopy, at 4335 Glendale-Milford Road in Blue Ash.
Admission to the ice rink is $5.00 per person and includes skate rental. Children three-years-old and under are free. Skating aids are also available for young children. Beginning in January, skaters will be able to participate in broomball, curling and pond hockey on the rink.
“Summit Park’s ice rink saw an extremely successful debut season last year with more than 8,800 skaters in three months,” says City of Blue Ash Parks & Recreation Director Chuck Funk. “We believe the rink will quickly become a family tradition for people from all over the Greater Cincinnati-area and we are looking forward to more great memories on the ice,” he says.
Nanny Belle’s, an ice cream parlor located at Summit Park, will sell snacks, drinks, hand warmers, gloves, and more. Brown Dog Café, Senate, and Tahona Kitchen and Bar will also remain open during their normal business hours.
The rink will be open daily through February 18th, with the exception of holidays. Operating hours will vary. For a full schedule, click here.
