City of Blue Ash Joins Ohio's Online Checkbook
The City of Blue Ash has joined the state of Ohio’s online checkbook platform, OhioCheckbook.com. The free online tool allows the public to view all City expenditures.
“The City of Blue Ash has always demonstrated strong fiscal responsibility and transparency,” said City of Blue Ash Mayor Tom Adamec. “Through Ohio’s Online Checkbook, the State has provided an additional platform to demonstrate Blue Ash’s success,” he said.
Financials from nearly 1,400 local governments and school districts can now be viewed on OhioCheckbook.com. Blue Ash’s online checkbook currently includes over 9,000 individual transactions over the past year.
“I believe the people of Hamilton County have a right to know how their tax money is being spent, and I applaud local leaders here for partnering with my office to post the finances on OhioCheckbook.com,” said Treasurer Josh Mandel. “By posting local government spending online, we are empowering taxpayers across Ohio to hold public officials accountable.”
OhioCheckbook.com was launched in 2014. Blue Ash’s online checkbook can be viewed here.
