66th Annual City of Blue Ash Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on May 28th

The 66th annual City of Blue Ash Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10:15AM on Monday, May 28th. The public is invited to watch the parade as it begins on Reed Hartman Highway and Cooper Road, proceeding east on Cooper to Kenwood, south on Kenwood to Hunt, and east on Hunt before ending at the Bicentennial Veterans Memorial Park at Blue Ash Towne Square. More than 60 groups will participate in the parade, which range from military and non-profit organizations to local businesses and community groups.

A special ceremony will take place after the parade at approximately 11:30AM at Blue Ash Towne Square.Lieutenant Colonel Dominic “Nick” S. Fago will serve as the keynote speaker. Lt. Col. Fago is the commander of the 123d Air Control Squadron, located in Blue Ash. He grew up in nearby Reading and graduated from Moeller High School and the University of Cincinnati.  He is married and has three children with his wife of 25 years, Jennifer. Lt. Col. Fago has been in the 123d for more than 32 years and has deployed on 7 occasions to the Middle East in support of operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and the global war on terrorism. He also has deployed several times in support of homeland security missions.

The Cincinnati Warbirds will perform a flyover, weather permitting. The Ohio Military Band will also perform.
The Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Memorial Day Concert will begin at 6PM on May 28th at Towne Square.
