SNAP- Special Needs Awareness Program

The Blue Ash Police Department Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) continues to grow and develop new ways to assist the special needs community.

The BAPD CIT has a Special Needs Awareness Program (SNAP) that is available to families in the Blue Ash area. This program is designed to improve interactions with law enforcement when loved ones are in crisis. The information collected will give officers a better understanding of the individuals and situations. It will aid in reconnecting loved ones if they are missing and when they are found.

If you have a family member with Alzheimer’s, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other special needs, please contact Officer Steve Keller, skeller@blueash.com or 745-8555, at the Blue Ash Police Department for further information.
