Police Chief Scott Noel

Blue Ash Police Chief Scott Noel is a graduate of Norwood High School. He furthered his education at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State. Scott is a graduate of the Police Executive Leadership College, the National Tactical Officers Command School 1&2, the Great Lakes Leadership Program, as well as the Mid-West Leadership Institute. Scott began his law enforcement career at the City of Madeira where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant before coming to Blue Ash in 2001. In Blue Ash, Chief Noel has held the ranks of Field Training Officer, Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant before being promoted to Police Chief in 2017. Chief Noel has 15 years of SWAT experience and held the position of Team Leader of Team 1 for the Hamilton County Special Weapons and Tactics Team. Chief Noel sits on the Governor’s Task Force for the Ohio Victims of Crime as well as the Distracted Driving Task Force. Chief Noel has received the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Top Cop Award and he is a two-time recipient of the Meritorious Award for Valor.
