When will shelter reservations be available?

  • Starting June 10th shelter rentals will be available for groups of 10 or less.  If you have a current reservation and your group is larger than 10 individuals, our staff will contact you to discuss cancelling or limiting the participants for your rental as we draw near your reservation date.  

Can I reserve a shelter today?

  • Yes, new shelter reservations may be made starting June 10th.  

Can I reserve a shelter for more than 10 people for a date later this summer or fall?

  • At this time, all shelter reservations will be limited to 10 people or less regardless of the date.  We will be following state protocols for gathering limits and will update this information as those protocols change.

Can I rent a room at the Rec Center or Summit Park? (Updated October 4, 2020)

  • Despite our typical rental opening date approaching on November 1st for 2021 rentals, we will not be accepting any new rental facility requests for rental rooms at neither the Recreation Center or Summit Park at this time.  When we are safely able to open our facilities and group gathering limitations allow, we will notify the public and we will begin taking reservations again.

Recreation Center Membership

I have a question about my membership.

  • We fully understand that everyone has their own unique membership situation and our staff is available if you have specific questions regarding your membership. Please contact us at (513) 745-8550 or email us at recreation@blueash.com and we will gladly talk through your individual situation and see what we can do to help. 

Will I still be able to bring in guests?

  • Yes.  Our guest policies will remain the same.

Summit Park

Will fitness classes be offered at Summit Park this summer?

When will the Dog Park be open?

  • The Summit Park Dog Park will open on Wednesday, June 3. We ask everyone to please follow the social distancing practices.  

Are the Great Lawn and trails open at Summit Park?

  • The Great Lawn and trails are open, we do request you follow social distance guidelines and no more than ten people gather.  

When will the Observation Tower be open?

  • The Observation Tower will open on June 11. 

When will the Playground and Playscape be open?

  • City of Blue Ash playgrounds will be open as of June 10.  This includes the water area of the Nature Playscape. As a reminder, wash your hands regularly and always before & after playground use, social distance while using equipmen, and please do not use the playground or visit the park if you feel ill or have been in contact with someone with a positive case of Covid-19.

When is the Farmer’s Market?

  • The Blue Ash Farmers Market is open on Wednesdays from 3:30p-7:00p.  All updated can be found on our website and social media outlets at www.summitparkblueash.com
