General Information

  • Pool Season:  June 30th through Labor Day.  Starting August 10th, hours will be reduced due to Sycamore and other local schools being back in session.  For the most up to date Pool Hours and Dates of Operation please visit www.blueash.com. 2020 Swim Team and Swim Lessons have been cancelled.
  • Pool capacity: Total pool capacity will be limited to 175 individuals during open swim.  This includes both the Family Wading Pool and the Olympic Sized Pool.  During Tot Swim the pool capacity will be limited to 85 individuals.  The diving board and slides in both the Family Wading Pool and Olympic Sized Pool will remain closed for the season.
  • Social Distancing:  All patrons must practice social distancing with anyone outside of their family unit.  Any group not practicing social distancing larger than 10 individuals will be asked to separate in order to maintain compliance with Board of Health regulations.
  • Pool Gate:  All Members and guests entering the pool must enter via the pool gate. General access to the pool will not be available from the building.  You will be unable to renew your membership at the pool gate.  For those who need to renew or purchase a membership, you must visit the Welcome Desk first and then enter via the pool gate.  Please feel free to contact us at 513-745-8550 if you have any membership questions prior to your first visit.
  • Food and Concessions:  Pool Concessions will be open with a limited menu. Members are allowed to bring coolers and food to the pool and within the pool area.  No glass or alcohol will be allowed. Trash receptacles will be spaced around the pool deck, please help us keep the deck clean and safe by cleaning up after yourself. Pool concessions will not be available for the first 5 minutes and the last 10 minutes of each pool session.  Please plan appropriately.
  • Locker Rooms: All those who wish to enter the pool must do so from the pool gate entrance only.  Members will have access to the locker rooms, once they have entered from the pool gate entrance only. Members who utilize the locker rooms can re-enter the pool deck area and are not required to re-enter at the pool gate. Locker rooms will not be available for the first 5 minutes and the last 10 minutes of each pool session.  Please plan appropriately.
  • Deck Chairs:  Due to updated guidelines, pool chairs will be available on the pool deck.  Personal chairs, umbrellas, tents or other shelters will not be allowed.

 Reservations

Reservations are not required but highly encouraged.  If the pool reaches capacity, those without reservations will be unable to enter the facility.

  • How to Make Reservations:  Please download the Blue Ash Recreation App for an easy “one stop shop” to make all your pool reservations.  Reservations will require you to create an account (which you can do from the app, your desktop, or phone's browser).  To use your phone's browser or make a reservation on your computer visit www.blueash.com or use the appropriate direct link below:
  • Reservations for each individual:  You must book a spot for ALL MEMBERS of your party (regardless of age), including guests.  Your first reservation should be for yourself and then click "Create New Reservation" to add another member of your party.  You will need to repeat this process for everyone in your party, including guests.
  • Session Limitations:  We ask that all members and their parties only reserve one "General Pool" swim session per day to give all members an opportunity to enjoy the pool.  (Tot Swim participants are allowed to sign up for a "General Swim" session as we understand that families have different aged children and may need to come to separate sessions).
  • Guests:  Members may bring guests, but we ask that members limit their guests to no more than 2 per individual member.  Members must also make reservations for their guests and are required to check in via the "Members with Guests" line before entering via the main entrance.  Guests will be given an admission ticket for use at the main entrance.
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming your registration.  A link is provided in that email that will allow all members to view and/or cancel your reservations.
  • Cancellations:  Reservations may be cancelled up until the start of your reservation.  Please note that members who do not cancel their reservations prior to the start time of the swim session will lose their reservation privileges for 7 days. To cancel your reservation, either view your reservations and cancel them directly from the app, or call the recreation center and one of our staff will cancel the reservation for you.  The reservation maker is responsible for all members of their party and will be the one to lose their reservation privilege if any member of their party does not show.
  • Multiple Sessions:  Members are allowed to sign up for multiple sessions on the same day, but are still required to exit the pool deck with all belongings between sessions. This is required in order for staff to sanitize all areas and equipment between sessions, as required by the Health Department guidelines.
  • Advance Reservations:  Reservations may be made one week in advance and no later than 90 minutes prior to your reservation.  Reservations are limited, so please be respectful and do not over-reserve.

Entering the Pool

  • Pool Gate:  All Members and guests entering the pool must enter via the pool gate. General access to the pool will not be available from the building.
