Volunteer Opportunity: How You Can Help During A Major Emergency

The Blue Ash Fire Department partners with the Hamilton County Health Department and Matthew 25 Ministries to provide a Point of Distribution, or POD, for medication delivery in case of a mass outbreak. 

Major emergencies can overwhelm the capabilities of first responders, and the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Medical Reserve Corps volunteers help meet that need. CHCMRC is currently looking for medical and non-medical volunteers are to assist in these areas:

- Community Resilience Task Force
- Point of Dispensing (POD) Task Force
- Functional and Access Needs Task Force
- Leadership Task Force

The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Medical Reserve Corps is part of a national network of local groups of volunteers committed to improving the public health, emergency response, and resiliency of their communities.
