Streetlight Program

The streetlight program is designed to assure adequate lighting of residential or business areas. Special procedures are available to residents or businesses to petition for needed street lights, and when certain conditions are met, the City will be responsible for the streetlight maintenance.

To petition for a street light installed in your neighborhood, contact the Facilities Maintenance Department at (513) 745-8538. Residents can report issues or problems with traffic lights through an online service request portal called CAGIS. Learn more and submit your request by clicking here.

Note: Please do not call the Police to report an inoperable street light. Please report lights not working by submitting a report through the Duke Energy Street and Area Light Repair online portal or calling the Public Works office at (513) 745-8538. Please report the light's exact location and pole number if possible in your request.
