This year, the City has contracted to rehabilitate the 5’ diameter pipe that runs under Kenwood Road and Donjoy Drive.  To rehabilitate this pipe, the City has chosen to apply a sprayed on, resin based liner to the interior of the pipe.  This liner will prevent further deterioration of the pipe and renew its life without requiring the existing pipe to be removed.

During this work, residents may notice the odor of the liner being applied to the pipes. Rest assured that this odor is not harmful.  During construction, the City asks that all residents and non-construction personnel stay at least 100’ away from all construction equipment and work areas.

Work times will be from 7:00am to 9:00pm in order to expedite the construction and minimize inconveniences. The City expects this work to take up to 3 weeks, weather dependent. During this time the contractor will have equipment parked on Donjoy Drive during work hours.  Construction noise from the equipment and pumps should be expected during these times as well.

If you have any questions or concerns at any point during construction, please contact Zak Bradley at zbradley@blueash.com or (513) 745-8536.
