April 13th City Council meeting: What's on the agenda?

Blue Ash City Council will be meeting Thursday, April 13th at 7 p.m. inside Council Chambers. Here's a look at what is on the agenda:

COBA 101:
Blue Ash City Council will recognize 12 Blue Ash residents who have successfully completed the first “Citizens of Blue Ash 101” academy. For the last three months, these participants learned how each of the City departments functions with the goal of broadening their understanding and awareness of the City of Blue Ash. Each participant will receive a certificate during the council meeting.

Downtown Streetscape: Blue Ash City Council will discuss awarding a bid for phase 4 of a project to maintain and improve the downtown streetscape. Sidewalk replacement will take place along the east side of Kenwood Road from Catalpa Creek to Cooper Road, as well as along Hunt Road in front of the 49Hundred apartment complex. This work will consist of removing the existing pavers and replacing them with new concrete sidewalk. In addition to the sidewalk work, the existing light and sign poles will be taken down and moved to the back of the sidewalk. Hunt Road will also be repaved between Kenwood and Cooper with on-street parking added.

Daventry at Summit Park: The Daventry at Summit Park development comprises the southwest portion of the Concept Plan for development at the former Blue Ash Airport. Council already approved the Final Planned Development Plan for the residential portion of the site. During the April 13th meeting, Council will discuss approving the Preliminary Subdivision Plan to allow the owner to proceed with improvement plans and construction to the overall site.

The Blue Ash City Council meeting will be held at the Blue Ash Municipal & Safety Center at 4343 Cooper Road. The public is welcome. To see the full agenda, click here.
