March 14, 2017 – Following a successful winter season, the City of Blue Ash is proud to announce the spring/summer schedule for its popular Creative & Performing Arts Series.

The series, which began in February, strives to provide activities and performances for all ages, free of charge.

  • April 6th:  Creative Aging Cincinnati presents Flowers, Pastel Drawings with Cheryl Pannabecker from 1-2 p.m. inside the Community Room at Summit Park. Participants will examine the work of renowned symbolist Odilon Redon and then create their own pastel picture of a flower arrangement. Recommended for ages 55 and over.  
  • April 29th: Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Off the Hill Family Series, presents The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the Blue Ash Recreation Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and curtain time is 7 p.m. Recommended for ages 8 and above.
  • May 13th: Cincinnati Kinderballet presents Alice in Wonderland at 11 a.m. at the Blue Ash Nature Park Tom Stone Amphitheatre. Recommended for all ages.
  • May 29th:  The Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Memorial Day Concert will begin at 6 p.m. at Towne Square. The concert’s theme is “American Memories,” and will include the works of Antonio Vivaldi, Aaron Copland, Modest Mussorgsky and will feature mandolin players Evan Marshall and Brian Oblerlin.
