Blue Ash, OH (2/10/2017) – The Blue Ash Recreation Center is proud to host Festival in the Woods, an annual event that showcases local art education programs and artists ranging from kindergarteners to high school seniors. More than 1,000 pieces of unique artwork will be displayed at the Blue Ash Recreation Center, located at 4433 Cooper Road.

The public is invited to opening night on Friday, February 24th from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  Additionally, the display will be open to the public from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. during the week and from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the weekends. The display is free of charge and will end on March 17th.

The artwork will demonstrate different techniques including paper mâché, sculptures, three-dimensional artwork and two-dimensional artwork. Schools participating in this year’s festival include Deer Park Schools, Indian Hill Primary, Mariemont Schools, Springer School, Summit Country Day, Sycamore Community Schools, The Kinder Garden School, Madeira City Schools, Terrace Parks Schools and Mother Theresa School.

Festival in the Woods is included in the City’s Creative & Performing Arts Series.
