From art classes to a children’s play, everyone will find excitement in the City of Blue Ash’s new Creative & Performing Arts Series. The series, which begins this February, strives to provide activities and performances for all ages, free of charge. All activities and performances are open to the public.

The City of Blue Ash is proud to announce the schedule for the first four programs in the series. The following will all take place at the Blue Ash Recreation Center, located at 4433 Cooper Road in Blue Ash.

  • February 2nd:  For the first time, the Blue Ash Recreation Center hosts Winter Landscapes with Cheryl Pannabecker, presented by Creative Aging Cincinnati. Participants will create snowy scenes with mixed media from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Recommended for ages 55 and over. Call 745-8550 to register.
  • February 4th: Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Off the Hill Family Series, presents Around the World in 80 Days. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and curtain time is 7 p.m. Recommended for ages 8 and above.
  • Friday, February 24th : The 3rd Annual Festival in the Woods showcases local K-12th grade art programs and young artists from 4:30p.m. -7:30 p.m. Recommended for all ages.
  • Sunday, March 5th:  Madcap Puppets presents Monkey See, Monkey Do. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and curtain time is 2 p.m. Recommended for ages 6-12.
