Council Members

Blue Ash's legislative body consists of a seven-member City Council elected by Blue Ash's voting citizens. Five members are elected by ward, and two are elected At-Large, giving all electors the opportunity to vote for three Council representatives. The Mayor and the Vice Mayor are chosen from within Council.

All seven members are elected on a non-partisan basis. At the 2017 election (the first election since the adoption of the Charter), candidates winning At-Large A and Wards 2 and 4 were elected to four-year terms. Candidates winning At-Large B and Wards 1, 3, and 5 were elected to two-year terms.

In future elections, all members of Council shall be elected to a four-year term of office. Elections are held in November of odd-numbered years.
