Board of Zoning Appeals and Board of Site Arrangement
The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) decides on appeals to the Zoning Code and to enforcement of the Zoning regulations as they relate to land use, buildings, and other construction in all of Blue Ash The Board of Site Arrangement (BSA) reviews proposed new buildings and additions in commercial and industrial Zoning districts to ensure quality development in these areas. The BZA and BSA are separate boards, but have the same membership. All members are appointed by Council.
Meetings are generally held on the second Monday of the month at 7PM in Municipal & Safety Center. Meetings are open to the public; however, we strongly suggest that anyone interested in attending meetings call closer to the meeting date to assure the meeting is scheduled to avoid any inconvenience.
Current members of the Boards include Tricia Downing, Joseph Hoelker, Jeremy Kraus, Terry Peck, Sal Wertheim and Brian Gath (Alternate). The Charter requires that all five members be electors of the City who are not employed by the City and hold no other office of the City except on these Boards.
Agendas will be posted to the Calendar of Events when ready - generally the Friday before a scheduled meeting. Questions about the Boards should be directed to the Community Development Division at (513) 745-8520.
