The Blue Ash Police Department offers a free training program to prepare individuals how to respond in an active shooter situation or violent attack.

The A.L.I.C.E program (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate) is free and available to public and private businesses, schools, places of worship, and other locations in Blue Ash. The unique, option-based program focuses on the tactics a person can take to survive or escape during an attack. This is not a traditional self-defense course.

BAPD has 5 officers who are certified A.L.I.C.E. instructors. The realistic training includes actual scenarios and takes two hours.

For more information on the ALICE program, visit here or contact Sgt. Jun Cho at jcho@BlueAsh.com.
