The Blue Ash Recreation Center outdoor swimming pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. The Olympic-size swimming pool is heated, contains over 500,000 gallons of water. It reaches a depth of 13-feet in the deepest end (which is where the diving board and lap swim lanes are located), and has two 145 foot dual twist tube water slides.  Adult swim in the 3 dedicated lap lanes is conducted for 15-minutes at the top of every hour (during this time, anyone 17 and younger are not permitted in the pools).

SCHOOL OF FINS: SWIM AND SAFETY GROUP LESSONS
The Blue Ash Recreation Center is pleased to bring the School of Fins: Swim and Safety Lessons in 2017! The School of Fins: Swim and Safety Lessons emphasizes the importance of safety in and around the pool, the basics of freestyle and backstroke and much more! Students can expect to learn an array of safety skills designed to help parents and children feel more comfortable at the pool. They will also learn different drills to prepare them to become proficient in the two beginner swim strokes. Each session is one week in length with each lesson lasting 35 minutes. Each lesson will include safety skills, stroke development, and safety topics. Lessons will be taught by the Blue Ash lifeguards who are excited to teach your child about safety and swimming.

For more information about our swim lessons click here for an information flyer.

LIFEGUARDING
Our Lifeguarding Staff members are trained on a frequent and regular basis.  In fact, they are some of the best lifeguards in the state, proven year-after-year at the American Red Cross Lifeguard Competition that is held at both city and state levels.
