Park rules include:

  1. The use of Summit Park is at your own risk.
  2. Open from dawn until dusk.
  3. All pets must be on a leash unless supervised by owner in the off-leash dog park area.
  4. No pets permitted in the playground.
  5. No alcohol permitted.
  6. No motorized vehicles.
  7. Electric Park Flyers only in designated areas, AMA License Required.

Dog Park rules include:

  1. Entry to Dog Park is at the risk of all users.
  2. Leash dogs while entering and exiting Dog Park and while in common area. Leashes are to be a maximum of six (6) feet long.
  3. Owners must have leash in hand at all times inside the Dog Park.
  4. For Safety of all dogs, pronged (pinch), spiked, studded, and choke chain collars are not permitted and must be removed before entering the Dog Park.
  5. Dog owners must be in Dog Park and within view of dog at all times. No dog will be left in the Dog Park area unattended.
  6. Aggressive dogs are not permitted and must be removed at the first sign of aggression.
  7. Dog waste must be cleaned up by owner.
  8. No animals other than dogs are allowed in the Dog Park.
  9. Female dogs in heat are not permitted.
  10. Children under the age of 13 years old are not permitted in the Dog Park without being accompanied by an adult.
  11. No more than 3 dogs per owner.
  12. Smoking, food, tobacco products and glass containers are not allowed in the Dog Park.
  13. Dogs must be current with all shots as recommended by your veterinarian and must be free of all diseases and parasites.
  14. The use of cleaning and grooming products are prohibited.
  15. During special events or maintenance, the Dog Park or sections of the Dog Park may be closed.
  16. Dog treats are not permitted.
  17. Hole digging is prohibited. Owners must refill any hole their dogs make.
  18. Professional dog trainers are not permitted to conduct business in the Dog Park.
