The Board of Zoning Appeals is a quasi-judicial Board that reviews all appeals to provisions of the Zoning Code and decisions of the Zoning Administrator. The Board normally meets on the second Monday of each month.

The authority of the Board of Zoning Appeals is contained in the Municipal Code and is limited to specific provisions. Read Chapter 1133 Board of Zoning Appeals for specific information. Use variances are not permitted. 

A variance that permits construction of a structure or that permits use of a building must be acted upon within 6 months of the date of approval or the approval automatically expires.
