Our diverse day camp offers participants as young as 4 years old to 14 years old a well-rounded experience in the day camp setting.A healthy variety of daily activities that are coordinated with the theme of the week include group sports and games, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, water activities, and other social events.Each week offers new and different activities such as “Wacky Visitor Wednesdays” and “Field Trip Fridays” to family-friendly locations. No two weeks are the same! A sure bet that will keep your child happy and enthused about camp!
CAMP DATES One-Week Sessions available from June 16 - August 1, 2008 No camp from June 30 – July 4, 2008 in observance of Independance Day.
CAMP HOURS* Camp Blue Fish (Ages 6-11): Monday - Friday, 9AM - 3PMExcursion (Ages 12-14): Monday & Tuesday, 9AM-3PM; Wednesday 6PM-9AM Thursday (overnight)AM Tiny Trackers (Ages 4 & 5): Monday - Friday, 9AM-NoonPM Tiny Trackers (Ages 4 & 5): Monday - Friday, 1pm-4pm *Pre- and After-care is NOT available at Camp Blue Fish
ACTIVITIES Arts & Crafts:Arts& crafts are offered every Tuesday in conjunction with the theme of the week. By providing creative opportunities for them to promote their artistic talents, we’re enhancing the “well-rounded” experience that we aim to provide each and every camper!
Swimming: Campers swim every day in the Recreation Center’s pool (Exception: Tiny Trackers and Excursion Camps will have an opportunity to swim in the pool, but not every day). Campers will engage in a variety of pool games and open swim activities. Certified American Red Cross lifeguards and counselors supervise all swim sessions.
Field trips & outdoor adventures: Campers go on a variety of field trips to locations that are both familiar and exciting under the supervision of our conscientious counselors.
Health & Wellness: A variety of health-related activities, such as kickball, tag games, board games, and capture the flag are available daily, helping campers learn healthy habits while just having fun!OTHER CAMPSThe Blue Ash Recreation Department is also host to several other camps.
