Why consider a Team Challenge outing at the Ropes Course? A session at the challenge course consists of a carefully designed series of problem-solving initiatives and activities that are selected to meet the needs of your group. Participants work with each other to solve problems that require collaboration, communication and an understanding of individual strengths and weaknesses. Group decision-making, conflict management, trust, and leadership are all components of our engaging and effective activities. What outcomes can be expected from a Team Challenge outing? Challenges are led by a facilitator and followed up by a processing phase that allows all group members to reflect and evaluate what they have just experienced. This process fosters team building and calls on participants to think, plan, take risks, and support each other during this time. A Team Challenge outing offers the chance to: - Strengthen group cohesiveness, team spirit and cooperation. - Improve problem solving ability. - Enhance communications among group members. - Increase self-confidence and self-awareness. - Learn conflict resolution skills. - Develop an atmosphere of mutual support. - Deepen trust in self and others. - Get outdoors and have some fun! Who can benefit? Groups of nearly all ages and abilities can benefit. Our "challenge by choice" philosophy allows participants to feel comfortable with their group involvement. From planning, coaching, and sharing observations, even the most timid or limited team member can still contribute to the experience. How can my group take "The Challenge"?
