The Planning Commission consists of five members (all appointed by Council) and is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on development plans and other items relating to planning, zoning, and platting of land. The Planning Commission may also periodically recommend to amend or modify the City's Land Use Plan, zoning ordinance, and other plans for comprehensive development of the City.

Current members of the Blue Ash Planning Commission include Ray Schafer, Bill Sikute, James W. Sumner (Council appointee), Beverley Gill, and John Moores. The Charter requires that one member be a member of Council and at least three of the remaining members be electors of the City. No more than one non-resident may be a member of the Commission, and this non-resident member must be an owner or employee of a business, public institution, or industry operating in the City. All current members of the Commission are Blue Ash residents.

Planning Commission meetings (if needed) are generally held on the first Thursday of the month at 7PM in the Council Chambers. Meetings are open to the public; *however, we strongly suggest that anyone interested in attending meetings call closer to the meeting date to assure the meeting is scheduled to avoid any inconvenience.

Agendas will be posted to the calendar of events when ready (generally the Monday before a Planning Commission meeting). Questions about the Commission should be directed to the Community Development Division at (513) 745-8520.
