These boards consist of five members (all appointed by Council) and are responsible for the review of applications for new buildings or buildings to be remodeled in the industrial or commercial zones. Though technically two separate boards, the membership on these boards is the same. The purpose of the boards is to ensure quality building and to offer suggestions for aesthetic improvements.
Meetings are generally held on the second Monday of the month at 7PM in the east conference room off Council Chambers. Meetings are open to the public; *however, we strongly suggest that anyone interested in attending meetings call closer to the meeting date to assure the meeting is scheduled to avoid any inconvenience.
Current members of the Boards include Paul Collett, John Berry, Julie Brook, Marc Sirkin, and Thomas Adamec. The Charter requires that all five members be electors of the City who are not employed by the City and hold no other office of the City except on these Boards.
Agendas will be posted to the Calendar of Events when ready - generally the Friday before a scheduled meeting. Questions about the Boards should be directed to the Community Development Division at (513) 745-8520.
